THE CAMPBELL THEOSOPHICAL RESEARCH LIBRARY |
The Campbell Theosophical Research Library is a specialist research and reference facility. It has a comprehensive collection of books, periodicals and pamphlets relating to theosophy, the theosophical movement, its history, and other subjects related to the objects of The Theosophical Society. It also has material that, while not directly related to the theosophical movement, gives a wider historical and cultural context for theosophical authors and their works. The periodicals collection has material dating from before the founding of The Theosophical Society in 1875, and includes publications from many countries. For the Australian Section of the Society, the Library has journals from 1892 to the present. Anyone interested in its collection is most welcome to use The Campbell Theosophical Research Library which is available by appointment. Although material may not be borrowed, a photo-copying/scanning service is available. Inquiries are welcome. UNION INDEX OF THEOSOPHICAL PERIODICALS (link above) is a unique and very useful research tool established and maintained by the Campbell Library. It is usually updated in March, June, September and November. It now has 164,000 entries from over 135 periodicals. It has a Search and List facility. LINKS TO THEOSOPHICAL TEXTS ONLINE (link above) provides an extensive collection of direct links to the texts of a large number of theosophical books and other material available online. "Theosophical" is used in a broad and eclectic sense. Blavatsky, Book Reviews, Consciousness and 'Ways of Knowing', Indology, Pamphlets, Periodicals, and Australian Periodicals.
