The items here are selections from our national theosophical magazine, 'Theosophy in Australia' and from the magazine: 'The Theosophist', published at the Society's headquarters at Adyar, India In keeping with the spirit of Freedom of Thought, which the Theosophical Society upholds, these articles and short items are offered for consideration and not as the final word on their respective areas. We avoid gender specific language as far as possible in 'Theosophy in Australia' but print quotations from writings in which one gender is used as originally written. The Theosophical Society is not responsible for any statement in 'Theosophy in Australia' magazine unless made in an official document. 'Theosophy in Australia' is published four times a year in March, June, September and November. While it is intended primarily as an in-house publication, we also have subscribers who are not members of the Theosophical Society. If you would like to commence an annual subscription, the cost is A$12 per year within Australia and A$20 per year for overseas subscriptions. Cheques or bank drafts in Australian dollars are acceptable, payable to 'The Theosphical Society in Australia'. The Theosophist magazine (India) We also recommend for subscription The Theosophist, a monthly magazine for all serious students of Theosophy to keep in touch with current thinking in this field. Started in 1879, with H.P. Blavatsky as Editor, The Theosophist has continued without a break as a link between each succeeding President and readers throughout the world. Articles in the magazine represent the views and insights of leading theosophists worldwide. The President's column 'On the Watch-Tower' draws attention to important trends in the world scene from a theosophical point of view. There are different rates of subscription for different regions of the world. For most countries the annual subscritption rates are US$10.00 for surface mail and US$18.00 for air mail.
